Tuition & Financial Aid

Investment in your families future

A Hyde education is an investment in the holistic formation of your child. More specifically, a Hyde education is intentionally designed to provide every graduate with the character, confidence and academic ability to thrive in college, and perhaps more importantly, in an increasingly competitive, interconnected world.
While a Hyde education provides lifelong value, affording an independent school tuition can be a daunting financial challenge. As such, Hyde is committed to working with families to close the gap between what they can afford and the cost of an Hyde education.
Each academic year, Hyde provides some form of financial assistance (need based or scholarships) to a significant number of our students. Financial assistance decisions are based on the family's need, while our scholarship allocation is merit based.
Many families are surprised to learn that they qualify for financial assistance. The following graphics provide an estimate of what families with different income levels might receive in financial assistance.

To apply for financial aid for the 2023-24 academic year click here. The SSS Financial Aid Application opens on September 1, 2022 for the 2023-2024 academic year.  All families applying for need-based financial aid from Hyde School must complete a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) annually. There is a non-refundable fee of $60 for the PFS to process the application and Hyde's School Code for the PFS is 4603.

For international families, a Financial Aid Profile is required in the SSS application process. Please download and complete that form here, and be prepared to submit it with the rest of your materials in SSS.  The School Code is 4603.
