Applying for financial aid

A Hyde education is a meaningful investment, and we are committed to making it accessible for families who need support. Hyde awards need-based financial aid and works individually with each family to find a path forward.

To assess financial aid need, Hyde has partnered with Clarity, a secure and widely used platform for independent school financial aid applications. The Clarity application takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete and asks for basic household financial information and recent tax documents.

Aid decisions for new families are released alongside admissions decisions on a rolling basis. Returning families receive aid decisions in early March.

We encourage every family with financial questions to reach out before assuming Hyde is out of reach. Many families are surprised by what is possible. Please contact admissions@hyde.edu or 207-443-5584 to start that conversation.
