One of the great things about northern New England in the winter is the skiing and snowboarding. Hyde School is situated close to some smaller ski areas and a good early morning drive away from Sugarloaf mountain near our north campus The Black Preserve. Weather permitting, we try to offer day trips every Sunday throughout the winter trimester and the occasional overnight at The Black Preserve to get two days in a row on the mountain. Whether our students are seasoned skiers and snowboarders or brand new trying it out for the first time, spending the day on the mountain is always a fun time.
