Academic Model

In traditional educational models the teacher is the gatekeeper of information, and the student the recipient. At Hyde School our model of academics is represented through the Learning Triangle: the student and teacher are adjacent to each other at the base of the triangle and both have access to the information and learning that connects them at the top in the pursuit of excellence in the subject area. This catalyst serves to strengthen the bond between teacher and student through mutual investigation. When optimized, this powerful triangle becomes truly conscience-centered in its quest for knowledge.
