Biggest Job Family Program

Welcome to the #HydeFamily!

Your involvement in the Biggest Job Family Program at Hyde lays the foundation for a lifelong journey of personal and family growth. Students, parents, and faculty members all participate together in activities that inspire a deep level of self-discovery. In this way, home and school are in partnership to bring out the best in every individual and every family. Thank you for your commitment!

The three goals of the Biggest Job Family Program are:

Self-Discovery: helping each participant become his or her best self.
Family Transformation: connecting the family’s strengths and challenges to their vision.
Character Curriculum: learning about the core beliefs and principles of the Hyde Education.

Family Learning Center (FLC)

The FLC is an experience for a parent and student to join other students and parents to focus on their individual journey of self-discovery Some activities include journaling, sharing of individual journaling in a small group with a facilitator and other parents and students, a “trust walk’ where parents and students walk and listen to each other with no interruptions, parent meetings, student meetings, signing a short song (we call these “auditions”), and letter writing.

During the 2020-2021 school year, Virtual FLCs for all students and parents will be held in December and March, Dates and times, TBD.
