If you’re ever in Boston and need your spirits lifted, take a stroll through the Public Gardens. At the entrance to Charles Street you’ll come across this scene:
If you’re like me, this will immediately transport you back to childhood and Robert McCloskey’s classic Make Way for Ducklings. My mother read it to me. I read it to my three kids.
This is a very cool feel-good memorial. The brass plate near the sculpture pretty much says it all:
