Hyde 14- Metro lax 8
The Hyde girls varsity lacrosse team traveled to Dorchester Saturday to take on Metro Lax. It was a cold and blustery day at Harambe Park but that did not stop the Hyde team. Hyde jumped out to an early lead led by Miranda Cully ‘20, who tallied her first hat trick of the year. Strong midfield play was the deciding factor in the game. Hyde controlled 18 of 24 draws during the game and dominated possession time. Attacker Anna Doline ’18 also contributed to the goal tally and helped manage our possession time advantage. This game offered our team the opportunity to have our newer players gain game speed experience: Belle Braitberg ’19 showed poise on defense, Nava Schorsh’19 captured a ground ball, Nicole Mooney’19 was aggressive on ground balls. The Hyde girls lacrosse team faces MAISAD foe Kent’s Hill School at home 4/18.
