Hyde 26– Hebron 21

The Hyde Wolfpack traveled to Hebron Academy this past Saturday. Conditions were sunny and beautiful! Great fall day for a football game!

Hyde football came out firing as they took a 20-0 lead over Hebron at halftime. Touchdowns were scored by Pajebo Myers ‘PG and Jalen Graham ‘20. Ippokratis Georgiadis ‘18 threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for 120 yards in his debut as quarterback.

Hebron came out in the third quarter and scored 2 touchdowns to cut the deficit down to 20-14 to start the 4th quarter. While it was looking like Hebron was going to come back, our defense led by Robert Heathman ‘PG stopped the lumberjacks on a key 4th down. Sean Duffy ‘18 with a huge bat down at the line of the scrimmage gave the ball back to the Wolfpack!

Pajebo Myers ‘PG ended up scoring his 3rd touchdown of the day to make it 26-14 with a few minutes left in the game. Hebron went on to score one more time and the game ended with a wolfpack victory 26-21 final!

Hyde starts the football season with a 2-0 record and looking to improve that to 3-0 with a win on Saturday, October 7th at 6 pm at MCMANN Stadium for homecoming!

Great day for the pack!
