Hyde BVL Rolls in Home Opener 16-0 Over STM

The Wolfpack opened up the 2017 campaign vs. the Chancellors from St. Thomas Moore school in SENE league action. Hyde got on the board early with a goal from Cooper Felt ’19 and quickly followed with another goal from senior mid fielder Spencer Levin ’17. Hyde maintained possession for the majority of the first half with goals from Alex Sobel ’17, Ian White ’18 and Jake Vasapolli ’18 to head into halftime with a commanding 11-0 lead.

The second half was much of the same with the Wolfpack defense stopping the St. Thomas Moore attack and paving the way for more firepower on the Wolfpack offensive end. Freshman James Nelson ’20 put the ” nail in the coffin” with his first goal of the season off of a great feed from Jacob Robinson ’19 to help lead Hyde to the first victory of the year 16-0. Junior attackman Ian White lead all Hyde scorers with 4 goals and 2 assists. Our Best & Fairest Green jacket was awarded to James Nelson for his stellar play and our Pink Jacket for outstanding hustle/effort was awarded to midfielder Sean Duffy ’18. Up next for the Wolfpack is a home game vs. St. Andrews School…. stay tuned!
