LEE ACADEMY- 91
Hyde Varsity Basketball took on Lee Academy in what was one of the toughest games of their season. They came into the game knowing it would be a very tough test. Lee Academy was a strong team that came out firing on all cylinders. Lee Academy finished with 91 points while Hyde had 34. For Hyde, Khalil Johnson ‘17 led the way with 14 points, Andrew West ‘17 gave a good effort and battled through adversity during the tough loss.
Hyde Varsity Basketball took on STM in what turned out to be a thriller of a game. Hyde did a great job on the glass in this game bringing in 46 rebounds, Marcus Greenidge’17 led the way with 13 rebounds, Mike St. Laurent ‘17 had 9 rebounds and Mekhi McCray ‘17 had 8 rebounds. Although the rebounding was great, something even more outstanding was the play of Khalil Johnson ‘17, whose scoring single handedly kept Hyde in the game, Johnson finished with 27 points in a 67-57 win for the Wolfpack.
HAMDEN HALL- 72
Hyde Varsity Basketball took on Hamden Hall with a celebrity in the crowd, former NBA player Vin Baker was in attendance as his son attends Hamden Hall. This was a tough game for the Wolfpack as Hamden Hall was a big team. The Wolfpack put forth their best effort, but ultimately fell short of a victory. Aaron Petion ‘17 was the lone bright spot for the Wolfpack with 11 points and Khalil Johnson ‘17 had 10 points in what turned out to be a rough loss, 72 to 53.
