Wolfpack Girls Varsity Lax Falls to Worcester Academy

Worcester Academy- 14

To say it was a cold windy evening on Friday, April 8th would be an understatement.  The Hyde Girls Lacrosse team traveled to Worcester to face a more experienced, aggressive, faster team.  The girls started off slow struggling to stay with cutters and mark up, but after a brief timeout the girls revved up and started to find a rhythm and their voices.  Achaita Gakou ’18 scored 2 goals for us and Daisy Humsey ’17 scored one.  On defense Dairy Rojas ’19 was a force to be reckoned with. Not only did she stay positive and help keep the team positive, she played tight, aggressive defense causing many turnovers.   Tracy He ’16, Melissa Leventhal ’16, and Maya Steindler ‘16 continued to show great leadership throughout the game keeping the focus on playing as one unit.  The Wolfpack looks forward to hosting Marianapolis this Saturday at 1pm.
