After a tough loss to St. Luke’s on Monday, the Wolfpack took their talents to Massachusetts to square off against Winchedon. It was a tough matchup leaving the Wolfpack down 28-22 at half. Coming out of the half, Winchedon took charge opening up a 12 point lead throughout most of the second half. Then with 6:22 left in the game, the Wolfpack dug down played with heart and pride and slowly chipped away at the deficit. With 5 seconds left in thegame tied at 47 a piece, Rodney Ray 17′ (9 points, 9 rebounds) hit the clutch game winning jumpshot. Some other key players in the game were Eamonn Joyce 16′ with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist; Mr. Reliable aka our “glue guy” Jordan Burney16′ 10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist; Kris Carroll 7 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists and a great defensive show out by “the enforcer” Wesley Docsol 16′ and Aaron Petion 17′. The Wolfpack hopes to ride this victory into Saturday when they square off against GreenFarms Academy at home.
