Wolfpack Girls Varsity Basketball vs Hyde-Bath, Kents Hill, Lincoln, PCD

Hyde Woodstock 25 @ Hyde Bath 37 , 12/4/15

In the first round of the Aleigh Mills Tournament, Hyde Woodstock faced sister school Hyde Bath. Dairy Rojas ’19 led all scorers with 19 points in her varsity debut. Despite falling to Hyde Bath by a final score of 25-37, the Wolfpack fought tough and kept the game within reach. Achaita Gakou ’18 contributed excellent defensive pressure and her first career three-point shot. Cameron Yale ’19 rounded out the scoring with four points.

Hyde Woodstock 25 @ Kent’s Hill 34, 12/5/15

In the consolation round of the Aleigh Mills Tournament, Hyde Woodstock used a balanced scoring attack to stay competitive with a tough Kent’s Hill team. Dairy Rojas ’19 scored 13 points and sophomore forwards Cameron Yale and Tori Luo each scored 4 points in the paint. Maddie O’Conor ’16 and Achaita Gakou ’18 both scored 2 points to round out the scoring. In the end, the Wolfpack could not contain Kent’s Hill’s star player, who erupted for 30 points.

Hyde Woodstock 14 @ Lincoln 50, 12/9/15

In the first game of league play, Hyde Woodstock travelled to play a deep Lincoln team. Dairy Roajs ’19 led all scorers with 14 points, accounting for all the Wolfpack scoring. Joanna Red ’16 and Allegra Weterrings ’16 worked hard on defense to contain Lincoln’s interior scoring. However, Lincoln’s balanced scoring attack was too much to overcome, as Hyde fell 14-50.

Hyde Woodstock 17 vs. Providence Country Day 43, 12/16/15

In the Wolfpack’s first home game, Dairy Rojas ’19 once again led her team in scoring, chipping in 13 points. Maddie O’Conor ’16 netted her second basket of the season on a beautiful baseline drive. Cameron Yale ’18 had her best rebounding game of the season and contributed 2 points. While the team struggled to defend the paint, the effort on the court was impressive. Despite falling 17-43, the team made strides in building team communication.
