Hyde Challenges Alumni In Week-Long Giving Campaign

Alumni Giving Challenge

Next week, Monday through Friday, the Hyde Alumni and Development Office is challenging Hyde alumni in a first-ever week-long giving campaign.

Alumni are challenged to make a gift IN ANY AMOUNT (yes, you can even give $1!) to help the Alumni and Development Office beat their goal of 10% giving among alumni in 2015.

Why the push now? Hyde School is beginning to prepare for their much-anticipated 50 year anniversary celebration. Joseph Gauld founded the school in 1966, and next year marks the 50th year of the school’s existence. The celebration preparation has already begun, and alumni are encouraged to save the date now for the June 3-5, 2016 festivities happening at the founding campus in Bath, Maine.

Nicole Missino of the Alumni and Development Office has propelled Hyde giving into the modern age. Not only can alumni donate online with a credit or debit card, they can now also text the word ‘Hyde’ to 41444 to give! For those not as trusting with technology, alumni can also call the office directly at (860) 963-4717 to give or mail a check payable to the Hyde School to P.O. Box 237, Woodstock, CT 06281.

“We want to make giving back to Hyde as easy as possible and as accessible as possible to all parties involved,” Nicole said about the multiple ways to now make a gift. “Every single gift that an alum makes matters so much. Annual Fund gifts support ALL aspects of the Hyde experience, including financial aid, faculty enrichment, regional continuing education, and family programs. Every gift has a direct impact on every current and future student at Hyde. We are so thankful to our generous alumni donors, no matter how big or small the gift.”
