On October 29th, Hyde JV Girls soccer team traveled to Hebron for the MAISAD semifinals. Hyde girls started out flat but quickly kicked it into gear. After Hebron scored 3 goals in a very short amount of time, the girls picked up their energy. However, the synergy wasn’t quite there. Girls were hustling to the ball, but also clumping, getting out of the position and not communicating well. During half time, Coach Lobozzo was able to get the whole team to refocus on creating synergy, communicating and trusting each other. Unfortunately, Striker Timisha Walker’s injured knee began to hurt again and we don’t have any sub players, Hyde had to play 10 players again Hebron’s 11 players for the 2nd half. Although Hyde girls really worked well together and didn’t give Hebron any chance to score during the 2nd half, we were not able to score any goal. The game ended with 4 to 0. It is the last game of the season. Shout out goes to Leehey Ramen’14 as a striker, Becky Zeng’15, Macy Weymar’18 on the Mid-field and Anna Presson in the goal. Morgan Primak’ 17, Shirley He’18 and Abbie Ward’ 17 also showed great energy.
