Wolfpack Girls JV Soccer vs. Barrington Christian Academy

Girls JV Soccer vs. Barrington Christian academy
Hyde 0
BCA 8

This weekend the Girls JV Soccer team travelled to Swansea, MA to play Barrington Christian Academy in their second game of the season. Still working on playing as a team, Hyde struggled to fully understand positioning and take advantage of the full field. With some instruction throughout the game, the defense led by Cameron Yale ’18 and Coco Cai ’17 continued to improve and work together to back the field. They were able to push the opposing offense out of our backfield and create space for Annika Morris ’18 in goal. At the half the team discussed improving communication on the field, recognizing the language barrier was a significant disadvantage. The team continue to work hard in the second half and changing some positions on the field helped Hyde keep the play away from our goal. Great effort was also shown by Tina She ’16, Katherine Li ’17, and Melissa Leventhal’17. This week they play Wheeler and hope to improve on their defense and taking advantage of space on the field this week in practice.
