Hyde-China team arrives in Xi’an, inspires newcomers to want to join the Hyde family

After overcoming two unexpected flight cancellations, the Hyde-China team finally arrived in Xi’an, and hosted the very first FLC in the Chinese Xi’an region on June 13th. This event attracted all current Hyde families as well as a new family that was curious about Hyde.

The parents were nervous and unsure at first, but inspired by their children. They slowly opened up to this new FLC concept and began to trust the process. The team shared life struggles, inspired by the reading “Nature’s Cocoon.” They did sentence completion followed by small group seminars led by upcoming seniors Leo Wang and Dean Tian.

Jeremy Jing and his mother went first and set the tone. Jack Gao and Dean Tian gave great feedback to their group. Jack Gao and Jeremy Jing’s parents were shocked about how emotionally mature their children have become.

The workshop was filled with laugh and tears. After our last activity, “family shield”, all the Hyde families decided to eat Hotpot together. This experience drew the group closer. The potential Hyde family also decided they wanted to become part of Hyde family at the end of the workshop.
