The boys and girls track teams traveled to Phillips Exeter Academy for the second time this year to compete against Division I Phillips Exeter, Division II Belmont Hill and Exeter High School. It was a beautiful day for a track meet and I was overall pleased with our performance. As of this writing, no meet scores have been posted. Individual meet performances are attached.
Girl’s Meet: (suspected order of finish)

Our scoring was lead by senior Hope Stinson `14 who won the high jump (4’ 4”) and also placed in the shot put. Julia Jackson `14 grabbed fourth place in her first-ever attempt at the 300 hurdles.
the 400m with a PR run of 1:05.4. Senior Xi Wang `14 placed 5th in the 3000m run (12:42.00), a PR for her. In her first ever track meet, freshman Cherry Weng `17 competed well in the 200m (35.3) and 400m (1:21.2).

Men’s highlights included our only first place finisher of the day Akin Sanni `16 (5-10 in the high jump). Jamie Lynch `15 took third in the javelin with a throw of 130-0). Alex Greenberg `14 had season personal bests in the 1500m (4:31.00… 3rd place) and in the 3000m (9:49.9… 5th place). Talin Rowe `14 had a season best jump of 9-00 in the pole vault placing third. Evander Leonardson `14 also had season personal bests in the long jump (19-07.5… 4th place) and in the triple jump (38-02.75… 2nd place.
Our next meet is home on Saturday as we host the MAISAD championships… a 10:00AM start.
