Wolfpack Boys Varsity Basketball: Week in Review

Hyde Woodstock mens’s basketball team faced a faced a well coached and very discipline Providence Country Day team on Friday in front of a packed crowed in Krebs’s gymnasium. The game was a true battle. Both teams played extremely hard. PCD guards shot the ball well, while Hyde’s front court did a great job rebounding. Hyde led 33-30 at the half. In the second half Hyde defended and rebound well. They were able to score as a team true unselfish play. Kenny Grant ’14  led all scoters with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Damon Gome ’15, Dexter Thompson ’15 and Fedja Djurisic scored 14, 11, and 9 respectively.

On Saturday Hyde School played a very talented Lee Academy. Hyde began the game with a lot of intensity. They did a excellent job defending a big and physical Lee Academy team. At Half Hyde led 30-27. In the second half Hyde continued to play well until they ran out of gas. Lee Academy was able to capitalize off of this. Kenny Grant’14 led all scorers with 23 points 15 rebounds.
