St. Thomas Moore: 55
On Friday, January 10th the boys JV basketball squad found themselves in a rematch game against a scrappy St. Thomas Moore team. Marcus Greenridge ’17 helped propel the team in the opening minutes with ten points in the first half and fourteen in the game. Unfortunately the team fell behind early, was never able to come back, due largely to turnovers and general carelessness with the ball. Offensively, the team struggled to space and set effective screens against the first true man defense The Wolfpack has come up against. Omri West ’16 was a solid presence in the paint and scored eleven points and had seven rebounds. Defensively Josh Bouchard ’14 and Evan Abate ’14 hustled to help create turnovers and pull the team close early in the second half. However, unfortunately Hyde was not able to capitalize at the offensive end. Moving forward, the team looks forward to the addition of Ian Toader ’16 and Cole Potamkin ’15 for the upcoming game against Pomfret on Wednesday, January 15.
