Putnam Science Academy: 57
On a cold Monday afternoon, the Hyde JV basketball team traveled down the road to Putnam Science to play a hard fought basketball game. Despite opening on a strong note, Putnam came roaring back with a number three point baskets to put them in the lead quickly and they didn’t look back. Marcus Greenidge ’17 played an outstanding half and game, scoring 22 points total. Omri West ’16 played tough in the low post and contributed 10 points himself. The Wolfpack made a big push to come within four points at the start of the second half, but Putnam prevailed off of Hyde’s rampant turnovers, and difficulties defending against the three. Johnny Schaer ‘14 played tough and hustle defense, and also contributed six points on two three point shots. Hyde looks to bounce back with a good practice on Tuesday before they travel to Bath on Wednesday, December 18th to take on the Hyde Phoenix.
