Wolfpack Girls JV Soccer Takes on Bath Sister School, Wins 3-0

10/20: Hyde Girls JV Soccer vs. Hyde Bath: 3-0 Win (1-6-0 WIN-LOSS-TIE)

The Woodstock Girls JV Soccer team earned its first win of the season on Saturday against Hyde Bath. Despite a sluggish start to the first half, the girls quickly picked up momentum and showed improved endurance over the course of the game. Woodstock’s offense and mid-fielders – anchored by Sarah Fan ’15, Daisy Nash ’16, and Joanna Ren ’16 – kept pressure on Bath and successfully moved the ball around the opposing defenders. Mary Yoder ’14 stepped in for her first full game in goal and made a critical save at the start of the second half.  Jessica Shao ’14 played her best game of the season, not only scoring Woodstock’s three goals, but highlighting the speed, determination, and ball-handling skills that the team has been working on in practice.
