Hyde-Woodstock Girls Varsity Lacrosse vs. Wilbraham and Monson
Hyde-Woodstock – 9
Wilbraham and Monson – 17
Hyde traveled to Wilbraham in a non-league game. The wolf pack was overwhelmed early by the fast striking offense of Wilbraham and their smothering defense. Alina Donnelly ’13 had one goal for Hyde in the first half. Coach Bragg questioned the girl’s heart and challenged them to beat Wilbraham in the second half. The team responded and scored 8 more goals. The defense played more aggressively and the girls collected more ground balls, the key to possession in this sport. Alina Donnelly ’13 scored 5 goals. Katherine Hagood ’13 added 3 goals and Angie Guidera de-Groot ’14 chipped in 1 goal. The girls travel to Falmouth to determine their fate in the SENE League Championship.
