Hyde – 7
Hebron – 13
On Friday, Hyde traveled to Hebron for a rematch. Hyde came out strong, going up 3-1 early and played with heart and grit for the first 8 minutes. Towards the end of the first quarter, Hebron found its stride and started putting goals away. Goal by goal, the Lumberjacks increased their lead until the final whistle ended in a 13-7 loss for the phoenix. Scoring for Hyde were Wilson MacMillan with 2, Jimmy Talbott with 3 and Evan Robish with 1. The Phoenix played solid, but still made too many mistakes in the clearing game and defensively. Offensively, the patient offense controlled the ball well but they struggled to find the goal. Kiefer Cundy had a breakout game in terms of hustle, winning several ground balls and sprinting on defense.
