Hyde 17 25 17 12 71
Isleboro 2 9 9 8 28
Isleboro-Paced by the pressure defense behind Wilson MacMillan ’14, Talin Rowe ’14 and Mustapha Niang ’14, Hyde erupted with a 14-0 run midway through the 1st quarter to take a commanding 17-2 lead over the Isleboro Eagles. Isleboro never recovered and the Phoenix won by a score of 71-28. Hyde moved to 7-0 on the season. Both MacMillan (17 points, 4 steals) and Rowe (8 points, 5 assists, 5 steals) were perfect from the field. What is great about those guys is their defensive intensity. Whenever they enter the game our energy level improves. I think that we are just as strong as we were last year with our perimeter defense. Macmillan converted on 3 long range bombs. Evander Lenardson ‘14 also chipped in for 11 points off the bench.
