Hyde boys varsity soccer played their second game in as many days this morning at Marianapolis prep in Connecticut. Despite a first half lead of 1-0 on a goal from Keifer Cundy assisted by Eduardo Gadsden the injury-plagued Phoenix could not hold off the second half rally from the host team. The final score was 4-2 with Cundy finding the back of the net a second time for Hyde late in the game. Wondo Shaw had another stellar game on defense despite the score against his team. Hyde may have lost the second game of their road trip to complete the weekend 1-1 on the season, but the coaches are excited at the effort, energy and sportsmanship brought by the team and are positive in the outlook for the future.
