Hyde            53

Tilton            6

Hyde put forth a dominating performance on Friday afternoon against the Tilton School Rams. Hyde scored four times in the first quarter and never looked back as they rolled to a 53-6 victory in their final home game.

Daniel Palmer ’13 had a tremendous day, rushing for 123 yards on six carries and two touchdowns. He also had a score on a fumble recovery. Jay Watkins ’13 had two touchdowns, including a 90 yard punt return. Quarterback Connor McLaughlin ’13 scored twice, once on a 60 yard scramble and once when he hit tight-end Ben Krassner ’13 in the back of the end zone. Back-up quarterback Josh Bouchard ’14 scored late in the game on a great run on a naked boot leg play.

Player of the game goes to senior defensive back Peter Markham ’13. Peter was a tackling machine and set a great tone with his toughness and technique.

It was great to see the Wolf Pack play their best football of the season. The team is getting stronger and more confident with each passing week. Hyde will look to finish the season with another win when they travel to rival Hyde-Bath on Saturday for a 2pm start.
