MAISAD prep cross country
Hebron runner Watanabe Makoto clocked in with a PR time of 18:54 to lead all runners in boy’s prep action on Saturday on the rugged Hebron Academy course.
Hyde’s winning streak of 10 consecutive races ended Saturday at Hebron Academy. Gould Academy won by a close one point margin, over the defending MAISAD champions. Hyde was led by Cody Mitchell ’13 (3rd overall) -19:33 and Talin Rowe ’14 (10th overall). Hyde’s pack of runners (Palola, Wang, Mokeme) finished in succession, but it was not enough as Gould edged Hyde with a score of 48-49. Marcella Delucca (4th) led the Huskies with a time of 19:53.
Kent’s Hill freshman sensation Anne McKee finished with a time of 21:32 to lead all runners in girl’s MAISAD prep action.
Sea Coast defeated Kents Hill by 5 points, 29-34. Gould finished 3rd with 66 points
