Bath: Boys Varsity Soccer vs. High Mowing School

                Boys Varsity Soccer traveled to Exeter New Hampshire to play High Mowing School yesterday.  The match was played on a natural grass pitch under partly cloudy skies.  Hyde’s first goal came in the tenth minute of an un-assisted goal by Kiefer Cundy`15Jamal Frazer-Borden`13 scored the next two goals in quick succession in the 11th and 12th minutes. PG Ethan Morrow and Wilson MacMillan`14 had the assists on those goals.  The score at the half was three nil.      

                Post Graduate Ethan Morrow scored his first goal of the game in the first minute of the second half, Jamal Frazer-Borden`13 had the assist.  Morrow scored again in the 11th minute off a Nabil Eshraghian`13 assist.  Late in the match, Zach Leighninger`13 scored on a nicely placed ball from Zack Heatley`14Leighninger`13 scored again in the waning minutes of the game when he poked the ball into the back of the net off a ball he snagged from the keeper who had just made a save on a free kick. Billy Martinez`14 and Alexi Philippoussis`15 split time in goal and share the shutout honors.  Hyde’s coaches were impressed with High Mowing School’s determination and competitiveness.   Despite being down the entire game they played with tenacity and heart through the final whistle.  Our next match is today at home against Putnam Science School.  It promises to be a good match.
