Wolfpack Boys JV Lax is 5-1-1 with Pomfret Win, 5-4

Hyde School vs Pomfret School, April 28 at Pomfret School

Hyde: 5
Pomfret: 4

On Saturday the Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse Team played Pomfret for the second time all season and after coming out with a big win from the previous game against the Griffins, we were feeling confident. With our parents there for Family Weekend the expectations where high but the Wolfpack was able to rise ago the occasion and play great fundamental, disciplined lacrosse.  Goalie Pete Markham ’13 made some very crucial saves to keep us in the game and for that he was nominated as the Wolfpack’s player of the game. With another outstanding performance by attack man Griffin Davidson ’13, the team was able to come out with a win over Pomfret 5-4 with Griffin scoring two of our critical goals and earning the second player of the game for the Wolfpack. After this win, the team has a record of 5-1-1 with a hand full of games left to be played.
