Hyde-Woodstock – 8

Worcester Academy -14

Hyde faced Worcester for the second time this season with the same results and exact same score.  The team started off well scoring first and staying in front until halftime.  Defense appeared to be making strides in shutting down their offense and the offense looked the best it has looked all season.  Unfortunately, the team could not sustain its lead and succumbed to Worcester’s pressure in the second half.  The scoring was as follows; Alina Donnelly ’13 6 goals, Becca Katz ’12 with 1 goal and 1 assist, and Andrea Sayegh ’12 with 1 goal.  All in all it was the best half of lacrosse the team has played all season which is a good thing heading into tomorrow’s game against sister school Bath and a chance to win the president’s cup.
