Last Saturday the Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse Team faced off against the Pomfret Griffins, a team that has yet to be defeated by the J.V. Lacrosse Team. The team went into the game knowing that it would be a challenge to take down the never beaten Griffins but the team was up for the challenge. The game started with Stanley Yao ’13 putting in the first goal right off the first face off. After the first goal the team struggled to put the ball in the back of the net and the half ended with a 2-2 tie. After a much needed inspiration halftime speech, the team returned to the field with one goal in mind, make history. And that is exactly what they did. The game ended with a Wolfpack victory of 6-3 and with an incredible performance by Peter Markham ’13 in goal and Ben Errera ’12 on the Defensive Midfield line—an incredible performance by the Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse Team.
