Bath: Men’s Future Varsity Lacrosse 4/18

Team:   Men’s Future Varsity Lacrosse

Date:   April 18, 2012

Score:  Hyde:  1           Berwick Academy: 15

Defensively the field was again tipped to the Hyde defensive zone as Berwick dominated the offensive side of the game.  They had 40 shots on net resulting in 15 goals.  Sophomore Kellin Sweeney again showed his toughness and ability as he turned away 25 shots for a 63% save percentage.  His positive (albeit sometimes goofy) attitude earned him the “Dirty Ball” award for Heart and Hustle.

Other highlights included sophomores Max Kaplan scoring his first goal on a man up situation and Andrew Martz again dominating the defense with 4 GB’, 3 clears, 3 defensive stops and 2 strips.  Freshman David Wu also stepped up to provide some offense with 3 shots and a couple of contested GB’s.
