Hyde-Woodstock Girl’s Lacrosse vs. Worcester
April 11, 2012
Hyde-Woodstock – 8
Worcester – 14
Hyde-Woodstock knew going into the game that it would be a battle against a more experienced team. The team had difficulty controlling the face off which set it back on its heels. Once again the defense had difficulty communicating which left some people open to shoot. The offense worked together better which bodes well for the future. Jenna Dubinsky ’14 is steadily improving in the goal. In the second half of the game the girls were less timid and were more aggressively pursuing ground balls and managed to win some face offs which led to goals. The team’s next game will be against league opponent St. Andrews. Scoring was as follows;Alina Donnelly ’13 4 goals, Bryn Nolan ’12 2 goals, Andrea Sayegh ’12 a goal and an assist, and Alexis Holdampf ’12 one goal.
