Hyde-Woodstock – 17
St. Andrews – 7

The team traveled to St. Andrews on a beautiful Saturday, perfect playing conditions.  It was evident from the start of the game that it would be Hyde’s game to win or lose.  The defense led by Yang Yi ’12, Tina Zhou ’13 and Jenna Dubinsky ’14 communicated well and double teamed the ball successfully which led to a lot of turnovers by St. Andrews.  The offense was impressive with a lot of unselfish play which led to a record number of assists in the game.  The team’s confidence grew in this game as did its cooperation.  The scoring was as follows; Alexis Holdampf ’12 7 goals and 1 assist, Alina Donnelly ’13 5 goals and 1 assist, Jahmalia St.Claire ’14 2 goals and 1 assist, Andrea Sayegh ’12 1 goal and 3 assists, Bryn Nolan ’12 1 goal and 1 assist, and newcomer Kelly Umutoni ’12 1 goal and 1 assist.  The team takes on Marianapolis in another league match up and looks forward to continuous improvement.
