Bath: Men’s Varsity Lacrosse loses to a talented Hebron Academy

Hyde 2
Hebron Academy 16

On Wednesday, April 11th, The Lumberjacks of Hebron Academy traveled to Bath to take on the Phoenix.  It was a tough game for Hyde as the very talented Lumberjacks came in on a mission.  Their high pressure defense caused  many mistakes and turnovers by the Hyde offense.  The defense faced a constant onslaught and, despite the score, met most of the goals set out for them on the day including team positioning, communication, and moving their feet. Leading the defensive effort was Captain Zach Tolman (’12) who consistently brings strong focus, physical play, and great spirit and determination to both practices and games.

Tyquan Ekejiuba (’13) continued to show improvement on the season as he picked up 3 groundballs and was a presence in the clearing and defensive efforts.  Scoring on the day for the Phoenix were Tobias Weymar (’12) and Jamal Frazier-Borden (’13) with one goal each.
