Hyde Women’s Varsity Lacrosse team hosted Hebron in their first MAISAD match of the spring this Saturday afternoon. Hebron took the field ready to play and scored their first goal two minutes into the game. Both teams worked hard until Hebron hit their stride scoring 5 goals in 4 minutes, a deficit that Hyde couldn’t recover from mentally for the remainder of the game. The first half ended with Hebron up by 9. Caroline Hammond recorded 11 saves during her third game in net. Carolyn Moore hustled in the midfield collecting 6 ground ball controls. Shannon Ward also worked hard throughout the game both as an attacker and a defender. Hyde will be working on a team mentality as they prepare to travel for their next context Wednesday against Exeter.
