Bath: Women’s JV Soccer vs. Woodstock

Hyde-Bath         1

Hyde-Woodstock          4

The Hyde Women’s Junior Varsity Soccer team travelled to Woodstock, CT on Saturday for a friendly match against the JV squad of our sister school. Woodstock came out hard with fresh legs and were able to score three goals before the first half ended.  Bath rallied around  goal scored by Erika Corley ’13 during the second half off a penalty kick, but the second half showed that the long bus ride had taken its toll on the Bath squad.  Woodstock responded 5 minutes later scoring their fourth and final goal ending the game with a 3-goal lead.  Yan Chen ’12 worked hard on the defensive end, while Corley led the attacking forces with the help of Coco Qin ’12.  On Wednesday the team is on the road again, traveling for a game against Pine Tree Academy.
