KENT’S HILL 45
On the snowy evening of January 19, the men’s prep basketball team ventured to Kent’s Hill. After trailing by a ten point deficit, the Phoenix regained their composure and set flight. Chris Moulton ’12 led the way finishing with a season-high 17 points and 8 rebounds. Harry Smith’11 and Ted Cercos’11 each recorded a double-double finishing with 14 points and 13 points respectively while Harry had 10 assists and Ted ended with a season-high 10 rebounds. Jonah Alexander’ 12 was a rebounding machine with 9 boards and a season-high 16 points. Tyler Raff was a sparkplug providing versatility both offensively and defensively for the Phoenix. The Phoenix look to the future to take down Hebron Friday night on the road.
Player of the Week: This week’s player of the week is Junior Chris Moulton’ 12. He continues to improve and provided an overall great effort in Wednesday’s game logging his first double-double of the season. His hard work and effort in practice are coming to fruition as we continue to see his growth as an athlete.
Goal of the week: Continue to tighten up the offensive sets while making sure everyone is on the same page with the plays while improving our free throw percentage as a team.
