Bath, ME—In October 16, 17, and 18, families gathered at Hyde School in Bath to experience fall family weekend. For those who have never been to Hyde during family weekend, the days are filled with a mixture of reconnecting with family and a flurry of activity. All in all, the weekend was a huge success!
Parents and siblings of Hyde students traveled from all over the world to spend the weekend with their sons and daughters. Students participated in sporting events, such as soccer, football, and cross-country matches while also dedicating time to hours of family seminars, community meetings, and an energetic performance at the Hyde Spirit rally on Saturday night. Cheers were led by faculty members and students and, by the end of the rally, the bleachers were filled with hands clapping, feet stomping, and spirited voices bellowing out cheers and chanting in support of Hyde.
For the first time ever in Hyde school history, students donated to Fair Share along with 100 percent participation by faculty and staff members. Another first timer, $8,000 worth of Hyde school merchandise was sold, which proved the BLT’s (Brand Leadership Team members) were successful in rallying the community to wear and share Hyde with pride!
