Dear Parents,
I hope that you are well! Even though campus is finally looking like a winter wonderland, we are quickly approaching Spring Break. I am reaching out with important information regarding travel.
Spring Break Details:
Student Dismissal:
Students will be dismissed for Spring Break on Friday, March 7th, 2025, at 7:00 AM. No classes will take place on travel days. Student travel should be scheduled for this date.
Charter Bus Transportation:
*Please note that bus tickets are non-refundable*
Hyde School will provide a bus service to take students to three locations:
- Portland International Jetport - Portland, ME
- South Station - Boston, MA
- Logan International Airport - Boston, MA - PLEASE NOTE; the drop off and pick up location for ONLY Logan Airport has changed. It will now be Terminal E.
The bus will leave campus at 7:30 AM. Below, I have listed the schedule with estimated drop-off times at each location.
Returning to Campus:
Students should return to campus on Monday, March 24th, 2025. Please do not send your student back to campus before this date. No classes will be held on Monday to allow time for travel, and classes will begin again on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025. The return trip bus schedule is included above.
Important Notes:
Please only sign your student up for the bus service if their travel plans fit the provided schedule. Students should be at the bus stop at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time on the return date.
**The bus will not wait for students who are late, as there are multiple stops on the route. Please keep this in mind when purchasing travel tickets.

Sign Up Deadline: Friday, February 28th by 4:00 PM EST - NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.
You will receive a confirmation email after signing up, please keep this email for your records. *Please note that bus tickets are non-refundable*.
If your student is not taking the Hyde charter bus, travel to/from campus is the responsibility of the student, parents, or family. Hyde does not provide transportation outside of the charter bus.
