As a student at Hyde from 2016 to 2018, some of my most memorable moments were in music performance class. It was there that I discovered my passion for music and for sharing it with others. Now, as a teacher of the same class, I am thrilled by the group of students I have this year. They are motivated, curious, and, most importantly, courageous in their journey to come together as the 'Hyde School Band.' This past Monday, after rehearsing both in and out of class, the group performed 'Circles' by Post Malone. For many, it was their first time performing, and they rose to the occasion. We’re excited for a year filled with music and many more performances ahead!
