Thomas “Tommy” Baez is a proud member of the Class of 1978, and joined the Board of Governors in 2021. He and his wife Charmion, parents of Ashley and Alexander, live in South Carolina. Tommy’s early professional years were spent building complex gas supply distribution systems for New York City. He then moved onto Teleflex as a talent management and leadership director and soon after, joined the ministry at his local church. In serving his alma mater as a member of the board, Tommy feels he has a “unique understanding of Hyde’s liberating goals and objectives of student’s character development first as the core ingredient for educational/life development.” He is excited to help demonstrate how his time at Hyde shaped into who he is today.
