At what time am I expected to arrive for graduation weekend?
Baccalaureate begins at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26th. Commencement is held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 27th.

Who can attend Baccalaureate?
All family members are invited to attend.

What is the HAPA Parent Graduation Breakfast?
This breakfast is an occasion held in Annhurst Lounge to celebrate those parents who have participated in and completed the Hyde Parent Program, while also welcoming them into the Hyde Alumni Parent Association (HAPA).

What is HAPA?
HAPA is the Hyde Alumni Parent Association. Participation in the Association is available to any parent of a graduate or non-graduate of Hyde School.

Who can attend the HAPA Parent Graduation Breakfast?
This breakfast is by invitation only.

Where is Graduation held?
Graduation is held in the Cultural Center.

Can I reserve a seat at Baccalaureate and Graduation?
The school does not reserve seats; however, you can put your name on a seat graduation morning.

Can I get more announcements?
Yes, please contact Sue Schofield for additional announcements.

Is childcare available?
No, we do not have childcare available graduation weekend.

What is the senior parent gift?
Each year senior parents work together and give a gift to the school.

Where do I stay?
At a local hotel, motel, bed & breakfast, etc. Please see the Nearby Accommodations (pdf) list.

When are students free to leave campus for the school year?
Graduates are free to leave after Commencement. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will remain until Thursday, May 31st. They are free to leave after 1:30 checkout with their dorm parent.
