Q. Who can join HAPA?
A. HAPA is open to any parent who attended Hyde with his/her child, regardless of whether the student graduated or not. If you want to be part of this Lifelong Journey, then we’re excited to have you! We also welcome all ‚Äòlike-minded’ individuals who did not have the opportunity of Hyde, but believe in the principles and desire a challenging and supportive community in their lives.

Q. I attended Hyde as a student, but didn’t graduate. Am I considered an alumnus?
A. Yes. All students who attended Hyde are considered alumni, regardless of graduation status or type.

Q. How can I get involved with Hyde?
A. Thank you for asking! We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for you to review and we hope you’ll find one or two that fit your skills and availability. Contact the Development and Alumni Office to find out about Hyde volunteer opportunities.

Q. How do I make a gift to Hyde?
A. Hyde is dependent upon the financial support it receives from its generous alumni and alumni parents. Visit our giving section to learn about participating in the Annual Fund, donating a major gift, or becoming a member of the Sumner Hawley Society.

Q. How can I update my address information?
A. Help us keep in touch with you by providing us with updates when your contact information changes. This can be done quickly and easily, using our Alumni Update form. Don’t forget to send us your e-mail addresses, so you can receive the Hyde Schools E-news, the Hyde & Seek.

Q. How do I search for other Hyde alums?
A. We are pleased to offer you the new Hyde alumni online directory. Its search function allows you to find Hyde friends with whom you’ve lost touch.

Q. How do I take a virtual tour of the Hyde campuses?
A. We started out with one small campus in Bath, Maine, that operated almost entirely out of one building. Today, we have two campuses, two public charter schools, partnerships with other schools, and programs we deliver to audiences nationally. Our virtual tours lets you see the physical evolution of Hyde.

Q. How do I submit class notes?
A. You can share your updates, announcements, achievements, and goals with Hyde friends by submitting your class notes to the Development and Alumni Office to be added to the Class Notes page.
