Claire Grant began her career at Hyde Schools in 1979. She teaches Government on the Bath campus and is the Assistant Director of Family Education.

Hyde Schools is a network of college preparatory schools dedicated to the development of character and leadership in students and families. The Hyde New England boarding schools, located in Woodstock, Connecticut and Bath, Maine, focus on helping students in grades 9 - 12 and post-graduate studies, reveal their character and develop the confidence they need through self-discovery, rigorous academics, and parental involvement. Hyde School students are uniquely prepared to navigate the tough choices they face in everyday life.
