Teen Leadership Prep

2010 DATES: 7/10/2010 - 7/17/2010

Hyde Schools recognizes the unique challenges young teenagers face in today’s “iCulture Society.” To support young teenagers and their parents with this challenge, Hyde has developed and designed an individualized summer program specifically to help young teenagers (ages 12 - 15) develop self-understanding, self-confidence and enthusiasm to prevail.

Our transformational summer program for early teens begins with one week of specific Teen Leadership Prep programming. At the end of the week, students can choose to enter the Summer Challenge Program or enter one of several week-long Summer X options, where they can begin to use the skills and attitudes they have begun to develop.

Program Offerings:

  • Athletic, performing arts, wilderness, community service and other work activities and challenges
  • Individual mentoring by a Hyde upperclassman “big brother/big sister”
  • Veteran Hyde faculty staff the program with a 5:1 ratio
  • Opportunity to join Hyde’s signature character development program, Summer Challenge…LEARN MORE
  • Opportunity to engage in one or several Summer X options…LEARN MORE
