August Orientation provides a comprehensive and engaging two-week orientation to all aspects of Hyde’s college preparatory curriculum.
2010 DATES: 8/16/2010 - 8/31/2010
Hyde faculty and returning student leaders work closely with new students to prepare them for the expectations and rigor of the Hyde academic year. During orientation students will adjust to the daily routines of boarding school, which include managing a variety of tasks, including, classes, dorm life, campus jobs, athletics, performing arts, and being a member of a school community.
In addition, all students will participate in a three-day wilderness experience at Hyde’s 600-acre Black Wilderness Preserve, in northern Maine. All orientation activities are designed to help prepare students for a successful transition into Hyde’s academic year.
If you’re thinking a summer boost or a jump start for the upcoming school year are what you need to change your course and expand your horizon, give us a shout for August Orientation. INQUIRE TODAY.
