Hyde School open houses are not just any open houses…
Welcome! Our doors are open.
Guests will have an opportunity to tour our campuses, learn about Hyde School’s programs, and speak with students and current families. Hour-long campus tours are followed by a short presentation facilitated by Executive Director Laura Gauld, parenting expert and co-author of The Biggest Job We’ll Ever Have. Register below for our lively and interactive open houses today!
Known for our success in developing leadership skills in teenagers, we offer students in grades 9–12 and post-graduate studies, a strong academic curriculum, a wide range of sports, a performing arts program, plus many enrichment programs, including the Singer-songwriter Workshop facilitated by music greats, such as Michael McDonald and Don Cook, the Hyde Wilderness Program located on our 600-acre wilderness preserve in Eustis, Maine, Summer Exploration, which includes canoeing and hiking in Maine and Vermont, college and fine arts camps, AP and honors courses, and more. Our family program is the first and only of its kind, where parents and teenagers work together to build strong bonds and pursue individual potential.
Hyde School was founded 44 years ago on the premise that attitude, effort, and the development of character are key to helping students reach their fullest potential. Between 96 and 98 percent of Hyde School graduates attend four-year colleges.
Since its founding in 1966, Hyde School has grown to include boarding campuses in Bath, Maine and Woodstock, Connecticut, and public schools in Washington DC and Bronx, New York.
