Facts About Hyde Schools

  • Since 1966, Hyde Schools have been a national leader in character education and leadership development.
  • All international students are paired with a student ambassador, who serves as a mentor, and an American roommate.
  • Students are expected to speak English in common spaces, and they enjoy monthly meetings with other international students and ambassadors in which they share and learn about culture.
  • In addition to excellent college-preparatory academics in our mainstream curriculum, international students take ESL courses to enhance their learning.
  • Students also work on study techniques, critical reading and writing skills, grammar development and application, SAT vocabulary development, and hone all four elements of English language skills:  reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
