I Teach Curiosity: I believe that curiosity is the foundation for students learning not only the subject matter, but about what it means to keep learning. My classes are not about directing students, but about helping them to reflect on their own experiences and what they want to accomplish in their lives. That perspective allows them to take charge of their education, and find ways to connect to the material that keep them hooked.

I Coach: Football, basketball, track and field

Proudest Moment: Graduating from college. I felt very accomplished and ready to be successful, and I was proud to have my whole family there to support me.

Hobbies: Going to the gym, growing raspberries in my garden, reading, dancing, planning fun activities like apple picking with our students
